…wait, wait, wait… have I been doing this wrong? If I don’t have a shadow priest, and I have 557 spell damage, would I be “better” in Karazhan as a 40210 sp than a 10483?

The shadow priest part is helpful but not 100% nessary, but based on your spell damage, then yes, you’d probably see better results from the 40210(or 40183).
If you want a pvp sp then you should go for aane and fire. wow.allakhazamomdbclass?lass=7;mid=120329190164451035;num=49;page=1 this is a good guide for sps. It has a pvp one all the way to 70 but just do what it says up to 49. hey, im having trouble diding whh badge items to get. this is my armory, the items im thinking about repling are myhest, leggings, boots, and wand. this is what i figure. ive got 66 badges, and am gonna save up to 100. its either i puhasearved Wih Dtor’s Stk (wand) and Boots of Iantations (boots), or Shroud of the Lore’nial hest), or Legwraps of the Sweltering Flame (legs). any suggestions? i am running kara, so plz ftor the potential loot from there on a side note, if you have anyomments about my sp, plz enlighten me

Plug along until you get Blade Flurry at least. Oe you see that in tion, keep going until you get Adrenaline Rush. ombine the two, and you’ll be hooked.
Umm…you should be able to hit lvl 6 in an hour or less…and lvl 10 in another hour. Rogues aren’t really meant for 5-6 mobs at a time…but it doesn’t even seem like you want to put any time into it..why even try?

If it is motivation you are looking for, Ian tell you that rogues are the most fun oe you hit the upper 20s. You don’t get all your toys (I mean trainable abilites) until level 30, at whh time youan also sp into Blade Flurry. Oe you have all the stuns plus cess theombat tree talents, youan really turn into the spinning vortex of death.
^This. All of it. I died so many times on my rogue from 1-20ish I thought I’d forgotten how to play. My main is a mage and my only other melee at the time was a Pally…whh, between heals and bubbles and holy dmg, isn’t melee in the purest sense. Prot, of all things, so he’s Mr. Survivability. Anywho… I forget whenheap Shot bomes trainable, but it makes for a major grinding upgrade. No more Ambush nonrit openers, youan now lk them down for a few sonds of free beating AND and extraombo point to boot. Point is, rogues pk up arapton (I measured) of tools along the way whh make the rogue, well, playable and wked fun. Life has foed me to leave my 39 rogue behind for the time being, but I miss him terribly. Small bit of adve: though 99% of your openers should be from stealth and not with your ranged weapon, don’t be afraid to pull out the bow or throwing knives if your desired target is amongst 3 or 4 of his friends. Unless BF & AR are up, then it’s whirling-vortex-of-stabbity-death time. edit: and yeah, stop deleting!! Rested xp ftw.

For PVP Stk with the Stam over all mentality. As for strategy and DoTRot, PVP is a funny and fkle thing. Against well playedharters, straight DoTing will not always kill them entirely, so on 1v1 fights you should keep your personal survivability #1. This means Fears (insta-fears sometimes) when under attk, keep Damage sondary and throw your Timed DoTs on first, then your instantasts, and finally throw SBolts if your not hurt, Drain Life if you are (expt these to break fear, though). If they are dotted and feared, its also not always a bad idea to try to Drainertainlasses’s Mana (Pally espially.) This strategy will have you ontop in many 1v1 fights, and proves to be relatively overpowering until otherlasses start getting their Burningrusade ths around 65. Against large groups of people – say AV or AB, however, the most benefitan be found by you spreading your damage out and using your annoying spells to the group’s advantage. Try to stay somewhat under the radar (behind tanks, make sure not to be the first one attking sie that will auto-target you for them) and start with Insta-DoTs on whatever youan see. While Agony is great, use Tongues against Priests, Paladins, Shammies, and other Warlks. Wah for DPSlasses on healers and your own DPS, and use fear to bother thoselasses. Even if yourhain fearin different people (basally fearing eh one for only 2 sonds or so) you’re efftively keeping the damage off the importantlasses. Staylear of using Drains and Sbolts unless absolutely ncessary – it’s almost always better to keep everything out there DoTed. If you Really feel like Dirt Damaging, try using Searing Pain (no missile to follow bk).

Hey guys. Iurrently have a level 45 lk and have some questions. First off about pvp. I haven’t really done too mh pvp yet eept for a few BG’s at 39. My question yet simple is something I was wondering. What is a regular rotation for DoT’s in a BG and do you fear first then dot or dot then fear after? (Btw, I am full affltion so far and for spells assume I have up to the level 48 spells, as I will be doing BG’s at 49). My other question is about gear. I am starting to see some gear that is +x amount of shadow damage and usually on the same gear +stam as well. Is it worth it to downgrade other +stam and +int items to get these with less stam, no int, but the +shadow damage? Or is it more useful to have the “of the eagle” gear that I already have? I wouldhoose O over BE for everything but looks. 15% stun resist is huge, add a meta sket with 5% stun resist that puts you at 20% so you’re resisting 1 in 5 stuns. Huge. And blood fury, a 140 spell damage ‘trinket’ at 70. The main way I die in PVP is being stunned heavily while under fus fire. Me stuns, kidney shot, inteept, I’d love to resist 20% of them instead of 5% with my meta gem. And for raiding, assuming equal gear the os get a free damage trinket. My main is a human lk but I have leveled all lk-eligiblelasses to at least 15. The only real differee is the rials. For arena I would lean more towards O only bc they have +5 dmg from pets. Now if you plan on doing both it reallyomes down to what you want to look at for 70+ levels. And all lksan fear.
If your gonna be PvPing, I’d probably pk Undead. Will of the Forsaken is extremely useful in PvP. However, pk what you enjoy the most. I think the Os get a bonus to thier pet’s damage? That’s probably useful. The silee and mana steal the BE getould probably be really ne in PvP too though.
If your spif goal is to rk in bgpvparena, go BE or Undead. That said, O’s resist to stun is alose sond. It’s generally useful (you never know when it will help you – you often don’t even note it when it helps you). The other two rials: youanontrol. (and the o’s +5% to pet does help – it does add up – but it’s probably not as “huge” in terms of “turning a fight” – as the undead and BE rials reallyan be). Undead – having TWO ways tolk out of fear (and several other nasty effts) is quite powerful in pvpbgarena. BE – being able to area silee is very ne. Itan save you from a mage. Itan stop a Pal or other healer from saving himself or a friend -an keep you from having to kill something “twe.” Used w Felhunter, this gives you two silees. The only problem is that it’s pretty short range, but this is offset by being an area efft. O, for a demonlk mostly doing pve, or mostlyoerned about leveling up, might be besthoe. In the long run, all res work. Go with what makes you happiest.

Have any of you guys messed around with Sudden Death during instaes? I would assume that it would work a little bit differently against elites, or it would be extremely overpowered. Any input is mh appriated.

Youan tank just fine in pretty mh all instaes all the way to lvl 70 as fury. Even through outlands. However, if you still want to tank at lvl 70, then you might need to resp. This is what your build should look like at lvl 30
Do you suggest that if the dw’ing fury warrior does have to tank that he reple his offhand with a shield?
For the tanking part of your day it would be benefial to you. Just for the extra armor stamina t…on the shield. However on the same note when you go to Defensive stae a lot of your spells have to deal with shields. And look up a tank guide on these forums to see a swing rotation it will help. allakhazamomdbclass.h…m=10;page=1 is where I got most of my ideas for a rotation. I know you wont get a few of those spells for a little while. But youan work with it a little to get an idea. Hope this helps.
